Andre Hale

Andre Hale, a bright light in the lives of those who knew him, was born on March 19, 2002, in Kalamazoo, where he would go on to create countless cherished memories until his untimely passing on November 22, 2025. He was just 23 years old.

To describe Andre is to speak of his radiant smile and the infectious laughter that could brighten even the gloomiest of days. His keen sense of humor and charm endeared him to everyone he met, making every family gathering a joyful occasion. There was never a holiday without the delightful anticipation of him racing his beloved aunt Heather to the apple pie. His love for sweets was only matched by the immense affection he held for his family.

Andre was more than just a young man; he was a treasured son, brother, and uncle. He adored spending time with his mother, Holly Willis, and his grandparents. He shared a special bond with his siblings – Darius Jr., Jarius, Lexi, and Tashanya – who were not only his family but also his closest friends. Together, they laughed, played, and supported one another through life’s adventures.

One of Andre's greatest joys was traveling with his grandparents, Joseph and Cynthia Thomas. Those trips, filled with exploration and discovery, were moments he cherished deeply. In quieter moments, he found escape and pleasure in the world of video games, where he often formed new friendships, further testament to his engaging personality.
