Bill Manglitz, age 78, of Allegan, MI passed away October 21st after a long and well lived life.
Bill was born on January 20th, 1945, to Max and Peggy Manglitz in Grand Rapids, MI. After
graduating from Kelloggsville High School in 1963, he entered the military and fought in the
Korean war as an Army Specialist.
After retiring in 2018, Bill spent much of his free time, golfing, fishing, hunting, and mastering
the art of the dad joke. Bill will be dearly missed by all and remembered always.
Bill is predeceased by his parents Max and Peggy. He is survived by his partner Penny Axe; his
siblings Katie, Mike, and Mark; his three sons, John (Alenna), David (Dawn), and Bill; his 4
grandchildren John Jr., Josh, Baily, and Jake; and 4 great grandchildren Adelina, Abrian,
Joshua, and Joseph.
We request all of Bill’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life on November 5th
11am – 2pm at the Social Suite, 5528 Division Ave S, Kentwood, MI 49548. Military honors will
take place a 12pm.
