Patricia "Pat" Ring

Patricia (Pat) Ring went to be at rest with the Lord and her loved ones in heaven on June 26, 2021. She was born on October 24, 1939, the baby girl of six children. Surviving siblings are brother, Delbert Wood of Grand Rapids Michigan, and sister Joyce Abbott of Renton Washington. She had three children; Bonnie & Steve (Fuzzy) Closson of Saranac Michigan, Connie & Alan Mershon of Lexington South Carolina, Travis Smith of Saranac Michigan. She also had three grandchildren Jeremiah Maxim, Stephanie Closson, and Korbin Smith. Her three great-grandchildren who called her "GG" are Dalton Maxim, Soheila Maxim and Jaiden Gillons. Several nieces and nephews and many special friends. She loved her family and spending time with them no matter what we were doing! She was a hard worker and worried about everyone! She also enjoyed working in the garden, canning and making jam, antiques, being outdoors and flowers. She worked all of her life, but her longest employment was with Attwood and Amway, which was where she retired from. She was a bit of a stubborn women, but we prefer the word determined! At her request, a private family service will be held at the end of July. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spectrum Hospice or Special Olympics. www.GRcremation.com
